Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Coordinator-40 hrs/week

Community Based Program- Boston, MA

Justice Resource Institute’s Community Based program primarily located in Boston, MA is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Coordinator to support the Division Director, Program Director’s and staff for the Smart Team Community Based programs. Primary office location will be at Justice Resource Institute, 555 Amory St, Boston, MA. Our mission is to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in home, school and community.

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable individual that has exceptional organizational and communication skills and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidate must also have the ability to use independent judgment and discretion and the ability to prioritize tasks. Responsibilities cover a wide range of administrative functions, including, but not limited to: answering and routing incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors, overseeing monthly mailings, conducting new hire benefit orientation for new staff members, creating and maintaining files and database, processing incoming CBHI/Oupatient referrals, obtaining authorizations via IVR system, checking Mass Health eligibility through EVS systems, maintaining confidential health records via our Ehana software system, updating Arplus billing software based upon referral information and completing office support duties as needed and/or assigned.


· Individual should possess at a minimum three years or more of office support experience.

· Individual should possess a minimum of 2 years working with Excel as this Microsoft program is used consistently with day to day reporting and tasks.

· Knowledge of MBHP and/or third party billing, as well as prior human services experience a plus!

· Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.

· Applicant must have an active driver’s license and automobile as some travel is required.
