Robotics Business Review seeks an industry/market analyst with high-tech expertise and an interest in robotics, industry automation, artificial intelligence, and related technologies to provide compelling content for our business readers. Content development includes articles, weekly profiles and thought-leadership pieces,and regular webcasts and research reports. The candidate will approach content delivery with an entrepreneurial mind supporting the development of new research based products.

Candidates should have a strong business reporting or industry research background.

The strongest candidates will use their experience and insights, along with primary and secondary research, to identify business and technology opportunities and help business leaders make informed decisions across the value chain.

Candidates should approach content delivery with an entrepreneurial mindset to help shape the future of Robotics Business Review . The analyst-writer will also edit freelancer content and work closely with marketing, sales, and management to maintain and promote our mission. Excellent communications, editing, and time-management skills are a must.


Contribute editorial content -- including articles, research reports, and podcasts and webcasts -- that business professionals will find appealing and valuable

Stay up to date on the latest news and developments in the robotics industry

Work with sales and marketing teams to execute sponsored content such as whitepapers and to support sales calls

Conduct or moderate webcasts

Support the creation of visual depictions of data and concepts

Conduct primary and secondary research and interviews with senior-level executives at large corporations, technology start-ups, and other organizations

Develop a network of contacts and relationships among business and innovation leaders

Collaborate with subject-matter experts and freelance contributors to develop coverage

Help define editorial and research methodologies to better serve subscribers and sponsors

Apply SEO best practices to the creation of all Web content

Occasionally travel to trade shows and conferences


Minimum of two years' work experience at a B2B publisher or in an industry research (analyst/consultant) role

Outstanding communication, writing, and editing skills

Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

The ability to quickly absorb and understand technical information

High degree of organization and attention to detail, plus the ability to juggle multiple tasks

Ability to write clearly and incisively about business and technical topics

Basic knowledge of SEO best practices

Experience with WordPress and Google Analytics is a plus
